1. A show like that is preaching to the converted.

Besides which we're only talking 2 million people tops.

*edit
oops, I thought we were talking about his show on Comedy Central, I didn't see him at the WH dinner.

2. I doubt 50,000 watched the dinner
OK, maybe a 100,000. I would never have bothered with the replay if I hadn't come on here and seen the Colbert threads. I doubt it will have any real impact at all. The press isn't going to grow a spine because of it. Colbert might pick up some viewers - which can't hurt.

5. I hope so.
Hopefully the net will spread it. Colbert or Stewart might show a short clip on the show. Maybe Olbermann -- You think we could get it shown during American Idol? LOL :)

6. I heard Colbert will be on 60 minutes tomorrow.
How's that for news spreading fast? :bounce:

I am sure Jon Stewart will cover it... and, of course, Colbert will gloat about it, hopefully all week! :D

I bet FOX News will say nasty things, as will radio disc-nazis like Rush - more, albeit negative, coverage.

Air America will cover it for sure, and so will Keith Olbermann.

Next week is gonna be very interesting! :D

8. American Idol? :D
I don't know Colberts voice sounded kinda pitchy in parts. I don't know if he'd be welcome in the dog pound :D

same. It will be all over the country tomorrow as everyone else will be forwarding. Even the RwNut jobs will just have to read it. Limpballs will be enraged Monday
