anybody else listening to the gibberish on meet the press about oil... |
|
all the back & forth about refining capacity, oil producers & consumers, the value katie couric produces by way of her salary negotiation, and the party line from the likes of the sect of energy, bush's guy; and nary a word about the effects of preemptive war & planned chaos on the futures market; the tax giveaway to big oil that was supposed to alleviate this shit and spur more production; all of which that carves this shit onto a fluid stone day by woeful day!!!
what the hell is wrong with these people x(

3. Big oil is looking for an exculpatory "out"... |
|
...what you are witnessing is the purchase of airtime by big oil, through a network of surrogate media shills.

I've seen the whole thing here in EST on the East Coast.
Russert lets the gibberish go on. At the end he runs an MTP clip of a debate about exactly the same subject in 1976, and it's all the same lies, evasions, and allegations and problems almost verbatim by the oil company advocates.

9. I love how Cramer..... |
|
used Wal-Mart as the pulse on if the high cost of gas is hurting average Americans. He said sales were up. What he didn't say was if folks were using cash or credit cards for those purchases. I thought Durbin did a good job.

do in fact no what's going on, but it must be daunting to know as well that you need to thread yours through the eye of a needle or be burnt at the stake for missing the mark. good point on that cash v. credit card thing, there's so much dept out there just floating average folks that it must be a considerable number to say the very least hence...bush making it harder for people to file bankruptcy x(
