Given that he is trying to assert the right to break just about any law at any time... who else thinks he's acting like a guy who does not plan to leave office unless he is forced to? I'm going to be getting more and more nervous as 2008 approaches. You? http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=364x1063628

If he tries to stay it will be his worst mistake to date.

The man is NOW the Dictator and he dares ANYONE to stop him.
I hope the generals and the sane people left in Washington, are on the people's side...

I was at breakfast this morning with new acquaintances. One of the women had been speaking with someone who is professionaly trained and involved in the observation and treatment of addictions. She was concerned about *'s speach pattern and how it has been steadily changing. Going back to earlier recording of him as early as when he owned the Rangers, she became convinced she knows what is going on with him - she thinks he's doing coke again.

6. I've wondered at that, too. Surely they must realize that |

Democrats are going to be making major political gains soon- unless they get completely overt about election fraud.
So what's the deal with the "unitary executive" crap? Either they don't plan on leaving, or they simply don't give a shit about what happens after they leave office, and only care about gaining short-term, personal advantage. That'd actually be pretty much in character, come to think of it.

7. The time to plan is now |

I hope the top Dems are preparing for the possibility that Bush might very well "make his move" before 2008. We need to have a strategy as a party. And as individuals, we need to think through how we would react. I hope it does not happen. But if it does, we should not be caught flat-footed. The republic needs to survive.
