12. I think he's a Bush supporter, but ...

...not as extreme as most of the Bushies in the administration. He bills himself as doing "clean" and dignified humor -- possibly one reason why he got a private meeting with Bush, several years back, because Barbara Bush saw one of his tapes and thought it was funny. He's also a youth minister (his father was a Baptist preacher), though I don't know whether he does the Bush act as part of his church work.

Bridges does work pretty hard as an entertainer ... flying to another city, undergoing several hours of makeup, and doing a gig ... more effort that the actual Bush puts into an appearance.

He gets top dollar for his corporate appearances (more than Bush's actual daily salary) but a cut of that is going to his makeup guy, Kevin Haney, who does amazing work. He's redone the Bush makeup several times over the years (can see the difference on the clips at Leno's site), and it's pretty accurate now -- Bridges has eyes which seem a bit further apart than Bush's, but there's not much they can do about that.
