You anti-Colbert types or "Colbert not funny" types
need to get with it. If it's available in your area, watch Comedy Central and see a few of his shows. YOu will find in his speech he used some material from the show that went over quite well.......you will find the main difference is he was DAMM nervous just like his first day or show on the job back in October and he had a bunch of self-important dicks in the audience who laugh and clap at any thing Dipshit-in-chief says but were constantly looking around for approval as if to say, "Is this okay? Criticism of political leaders in such an unvarnished way is not supposed to be okay!!"

This was not only accurate and satisfying at a "gut" level, but it was funny. Watch it again.

3. 60 minutes
They mention he lost his Father and two brothers in an Eastern crash in 1974. There was a North Carolina crash that year...Sept. 11th. I wonder if that is the one?

after openly admitting that he's not one of their favorites. Mr. Bush, THIS is what moral courage looks like!

4. I don't have MSM cable, so I'm just getting to know Colbert.
The 60 minutes interview tonight was great. It was hilarious the questions he was asking some of the representatives.

6. yeah. I watched it on web...very representative...
but if you see a full 30 minutes show from screeching eagle and flags waving to "The Word" to his mock-grilling of astrophysicist guest for being an east coast Ivy League elite telling us what to think....you will be even more impressed and laughing your butt off.

5. I didn't think it was particularly funny.
Maybe because it was so damn honest. I find it hard to find any humor in this administration, so Colbert's schtick was more unsettling to the audience than funny. That's OK...it was probably one of the great moments in broadcasting.

8. I am a new fan, indeed
I saw him just once before... he was ok, then. But last night made me a lifetime fan of his.

Blimp, will forever be my word to descibe the *. GW Blimp!

10. Anti-Colbert types are tools of the radical bear agenda
And as we all know, bears are godless killing machines who hate America. It's in the Bible.
