When I lived in Washington Sate I was priveledged to know a very fine lady and staunch Democrat (past chair of the County Central Committee ... and tireless worker) and advocate for numerous social and political causes who, when she was in college in the 1930s was a trapeeze performer with Ringling Bros. I have had heated exchanges with the moderators about this. I have been alerting on known DU unicyclists but to no avail.

The time spent in 2000 and 2004 pandering to the unicyclists' agenda certainly cost the party in both elections. They're not worth it. The DNC has become too unicycle-driven for my tastes.

Unicyclists are far from an "oppressed group". The power which they hold in society is easily identifiable. Go to any state fair, circus, festival and you see them; visible and flaunting their abilities of balance.

The Founding Fathers made it clear that they wished a separation of unicyclism and state. Why change that now? I am sick of having unicyclists threatening the traditions that the U.S. holds dear.
