1. He asked Bernard "How did your boy do at the correspondence dinner? |
|
Bernie replied, "He tanked". "He wasn't the least bit funny". "I didn't get it." "President Bush didn't like it". "He could have been funny."
Obviously, Bernie was expecting, something very different than what he saw Saturday night, which does not surprise me in the least.

He knows that it is a character that Colbert is playing. He has talked about it before, but he was truthful there wasn't a lot of laughs there...here on the other hand plenty.

16. Bernie's been an asshole for the last twenty years (at least)... |
|
...arguably the wort part of an increasingly bad show.
(Imus used to be funny in the seventies, but then took himself too freaking seriously.
And he's got no loyalty either. Just ask Mario Cuomo or Bill and Hillary Clinton).

7. Jonathon Alter will be on soon. His wife works for Colbert |
|
I think she is either a writer or producer of the Colbert Report. It will be interesting to hear his take on it, since he has an inside track and he is part of the press.

|
...just sayin'.
BTW --- I missed the original airing of Colbert's piece, but thank Gawd for the internets.
He positively rocked, and now has a new viewer. :)

|
you don't see Colbert leaving the room only waking back to his seat.. I am through with Imass and his crew making fun of Mayor Nagin and everything else they do... I don't watch it anymore... Just a bunch of dumb asses making fun of everybody but themselves....

They are laughing at Ray Nagen's speech pattern and at a stereotype gay character.

21. Imus is going to spend the next two years campaigning for |
|
John McCain. I don't need to bolster his ratings by watching him glorify this bush suck-up, so I won't.
