Common Cause requests Feds to investigate Katherine Harris

This just in from the Orlando Sentinel .....

Link: http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/state/orl-harriscomplaint06may01,0,6306781.story?coll=orl-news-headlines-state

A well-known government-watchdog group will ask the Justice Department today to investigate U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris' dealings with a now disgraced defense contractor accused of bribery.

Common Cause wants to know whether Harris broke the law when she and Mitchell Wade met at an exclusive Georgetown restaurant in early 2005. At that dinner -- which cost Wade up to $2,800 -- Wade offered to hold a fundraiser for Harris and sought her help obtaining $10 million in federal money.

I decided against posting this in LBN because what is news about yet another rethuglican being investigated for crimes or improprieties? It's getting to be a regular thing. It would be news if a day went by without a RWer being arrested or indicted.

Actually, IMHO it would probably be more appropriate for Harris to be investigated by a team of psychiatrists.

2. Should be interesting
by the time she gets to a Diane-Ladd-in-"Wild At Heart"-style breakdown, and covers all her visible skin with lipstick...

4. Sorry, it's Florida and we know how corrupt that voting system is
and with Harris as the Candidate, I don't trust anything when it comes to that election including a 20+ point lead by Nelson
