LIMBOsevic's spin: "No probation, don't have to report to anybody"
Edited on Mon May-01-06 11:39 AM by UTUSN
Hmmm. However, he *does* have to have unannounced pee squirts. I missed monitoring the first 20 minutes of his shame, but he said that this is nothing new, that he has had unannounced peeing monitoring for over two years, that he has passed all of them, that he does not crave those old pills at all, that all that is required of him is "that I NOT BREAK THE LAW" (again).

Limbaugh OKs Deal, Will Have Drug Tests

By BRIAN SKOLOFF, Associated Press Writer 10 minutes ago

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Rush Limbaugh must submit to random drug tests under an agreement filed Monday that will dismiss a prescription fraud charge against the conservative commentator after 18 months if he complies with the terms.

He also must continue treatment for his acknowledged addiction to painkillers and he cannot own a gun.

The agreement did not call for Limbaugh to admit guilt to the charge that he sought a prescription from a physician in 2003 without revealing that he had received medications from another practitioner within 30 days. He pleaded not guilty Friday. ....

3. He *has* muffed a word or two, showing strain
He was bragging about his "charity" fundraising Friday, said, "It started small years ago and has BOOMERANGED" -------meaning "boomed".

2. Man, I sure hope if I'm caught with drugs I'll get a sweetheart deal...
like this one!

"This is a common sense resolution and the appropriate way the state should treat people who have admitted an addiction to prescription pain medication and voluntarily sought treatment"

I hope more states adopt the "common sense resolution and the appropriate way" to people with this "problem." It appears all you have to do is "admit an addiction to prescription pain medication and voluntarily seek treatment" which, I imagine, comes after you're caught.

I this a great country, or what?!?!?

4. My take...If you make a deal to the DA you've admitted guilt
So the next time I hear/see someone saying "he wasn't found guilty! He's INNOCENT!" all I have to do is tell them, "You're correct he wasn't tried. Because he admitted guilt and made a deal." Case closed."

5. money talks
He said "...I spent millions on lawyers..."

Most of the teens I work with have info on urine-screening-managements and some get away with it. I suspect the man on the street sees right through this farce. Hopefully.

6. Naturally
Only in America does Rush get away with felonies while the poor slob down the street would be doing hard time for the same crime.
