ABC News Online: Bush turned down chances to kill Zarqawi: ex-CIA spy
Edited on Mon May-01-06 12:24 PM by understandinglife
A former top CIA spy says the United States deliberately turned down several opportunities to kill terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi in the lead-up to the Iraq war.

Mike Scheuer headed the CIA's bin Laden unit for six years before resigning in 2004.

He has told the ABC's Four Corners program the Bush administration had Zarqawi in its sights almost every day for a year.

He says a plan to destroy Zarqawi's training camp in Kurdistan was abandoned for diplomatic reasons.

Spin this one 'snow job' ...

Never Forget: George W. Bush willfully violated National Security to cover-up his willful launch of a war of aggression and illegal occupation of Iraq.

3. what was that they said about Clinton not taking Osama when he
had a chance? Even if it were true he didn't deliberately turn down chances for more than a year.

5. Oh, pish posh! Don't ya'll know it's Clinton's fault!?!?
Haven't ya'll heard about how Clinton let Osama Bin Laden go when he was offered up on a silver platter? So, you see, it's not Bush's fault at all! If Clinton had gotten bin Laden when he had the chance, our fearful leader wouldn't be hunting down and facing al-Zarqawi over there instead of over here in a post-9/11 world.

(p.s.: Did I miss any of the big talking points?)
