Please don't miss Rush Limpballs
on MSNBC - his opening remarks this morning were unbelievable. Said he could not believe the news reports that he was arrested since their were no police or handcuffs and that his smiling mug shot is one of his best photos.

This fugger is still on medication.

2. And it aint no 'settlement'
Edited on Mon May-01-06 01:18 PM by LiberalPartisan
Some news reports used the term 'settlement' in their reporting of his plea bargain - making it sound like some sort of benign civil case. This is a criminal case and criminal cases are not 'settled'. What he has is a common, every day plea bargain which any criminal might be offered.

Settled - puhleeeeze!!

Felon!! Crook!! Drug Addict!!

3. What he essentially did was plead "no contest" and got probation
before judgement. He pays the fine and is cleared of the charges if he stays "clean" for a period of time. It is very similar to how people get out of points on their driver's licenses when they are nailed for speeding. Personally I think the prosecutor should have held out for a guilty plea on the doctor shopping charge - but then I don't know what kind of evidence he had.
