I figure even with the $100 "rebate" I am still going to pay $940 in Bush |

war taxes this year. Twenty gallons of gas lasts me about a week. At $3 a gallon, it costs me $60. Not too long ago before the Bush war tax kicked in gas was $2 a gallon. The difference is $20 a week. So $100 pays the Bush war tax for 5 weeks. Of course that still leaves 47 weeks where I have to pay the war tax all by myself, so let's see, 47 x $20 = $940, which I need to pay. So can someone please tell me why I should be thrilled to get a $100 rebate? Am I missing something?

from our benevolent prezeedent and sing his praises and then spend, spend, spend. Makes me dizzy just saying that.

2. I am tempted to take my $100 and contribute it to the Democratic |
|
candidate running for Tom DeLay's seat.
