...they play to the religiosity and bigotry of knuckle dragging freeper-types, but in the end the ELITE among them really only care about getting even richer. * cabal? I for one am not so sure they're the same any more, not that i am a fan of or defending either. My fear is and has been that * is truly seeking dictatorship or may have achieved it, the GOP was the vehicle for putting himself in the position to do that, but we won't know for sure until '08.

They got the rligious types who want to create a theocracy, eliminate Abortion/Homosexuality and wipe out the Democrats/Liberals.

They got the Neo-Cons who want to clean up the whole world, make it safe for capitalism and wipe out the Democrats/Liberals.

They have libertarians who want to see the government pared down to the military and wipe out the Democrats/Liberals.

They have old school conservatives who want a sensible fiscal policy, traditional values, and to wipe out the Democrats/liberals.

It's a good thing these varient groups have at least one thing they can agree one.
