2. OK, that makes my head hurt.
And if I were a Bushbot, I could say it means that Bush's approval rating is close to 100%! :silly:

6. How can you tell? He didn't release data on sample size.
Nor did he define "us," thereby making it impossible to replicate.

11. Aha! Skewed again.
But a positive skew, I trust.

BTW--can you catch platykurtosis from skewing around too much?

My slogan: Leptokurtosis will rise again, but probably not until the fourth moment.

If you actually get these horrid puns, you spent 'way too much time in a statistics class.

12. Pamela Anderson has some major kurtosis going on!!!
Agggh...statistics....!!! I took three classes at various stages of my post graduate career, but can't say I ever was a bright and shining star in any of them. I was more like the middle of the pack on a good day, bobbing along, dog paddling, desperately trying to keep my head above water, and churning away towards the opposite shore!

4. Yeah especially when those stats are applied to inflation and unemployment
Edited on Mon May-01-06 02:04 PM by linazelle
Nothing (not measuring highly inflated items like food) from nothing (0 X 0 = 0) leaves nothing. Therefore there IS no employment, or inflation and the economy is about to break through the stratosphere. :eyes:

15. Some attribute this quote..
... to Benjamin Disraeli. I find it humorous that we don't really know which one said it. Proving that history is pretty much bullshit. :)
