Did you see the movie 'R.V.'? Looking for the location of the meteor
crater where they filmed the 'waste removal' scenes.

It doesn't appear to be listed in film locations I've seen, which are mostly Alberta and British Columbia (Canada) and Los Angeles. That would leave out the Barringer Crater in Arizona.

If you know the answer, please post here.

Thanks.

Didn't know about the Toronto re-shoot in January 2006.

2. Haven't seen the film yet, but how about the Amboy Crater

just outside L.A.?

Google Image Search for Amboy Crater gives you quite a few pics to get a handle on it.

5. Yes, that sort of looks like it. Would definitely be closest to LA.
Of course, with all the rear screen/green screen work they do, it might have been a second unit shot, too.

"Movies are better than ever." (Now, don't get on my case. I remember this slogan from when I was a young girl.)

3. "Meteor" crater? You believe the official story? I don't!!!!
Edited on Mon May-01-06 04:24 PM by IanDB1
First of all, there is no such thing as a meteor crater anywhere on Earth.

Anyone who claims that Earth was ever hit by a meteor is lying.

Meteors don't hit Earth.

The Earth has never ever EVER had a single crater caused by a METEOR despite the official story!

Only meteorites make craters on The Earth.

Look it up, man!

You gotta question the official story.

6. Ian, should I call them "terrestrial impact craters" -- is that preferred?

By the way, I don't know how or why you do it, but I'm not legally blind. The large type is really overpowering on this site. You can get your point over without it.

Just a suggestion :) ;)
