RWer just has to find a way to blame Clinton for something. |
|
This was posted recently on another message board that I post on. This guy is a notorious RWer and I never stop being amazed at how every problem has Clinton as its root cause! Interesting, but to his credit he wonders why the situation with immigration is NOW a problem when it's been going on for awhile.
------------------------------------------ From the Rwer:
"I don't understand what the big ta-do is regarding these weekly 'protests'. I don't understand what the Fed. government expects to remedy by only now, making sweeps across the valley in search for undocumented laborers. Why is it so important now? We've had this problem for decades.
Being a contractor in the construction industry, everything regarding this situation affects me and my business. I constantly lose bids to 'unlicensed' people who can do the job far cheaper because they employ or are illegal workers themselves. Everything in the construction industry depends and revolves around these people from another country.
I will admit though, I do have in my employ several 'undocumented' workers. Yes, I am in violation with the law, but in my industry it's dog eat dog. My competitors rely upon an illegal work force, so to survive, I too must rely upon them.
I don't know who to blame. Is it Clinton and his "amnesty" program several years ago? Is it people like me who seek out such employees to bolster the bottom line? Is it the system, a system that has been in place for generations, that covertly attracts these workers to US soil?"

2. I've reading about the Immigration Act of 1986 |
|
and all the fraud and cover ups involved so that the immigrants who were here illegally could stay here and provide big business with cheap labor. Seems to me that encouraged many more immigrants to come here hoping for the same benefits.

4. It's incredible, isn't it? |

They will overlook everything their 'God Raygun' did to make the problem of immigration worse and point at Clinton as the source of all problems.

5. Someone tell asswipe that it's those who have set out to destroy unions |
|
Unions protect workers. I live in a "right to work" state and, working for an architectural firm hear lots of complaints from the contractors we have to work with. They bitch and moan about being undercut and not being able to keep up because of cheap labor from undocumented workers. I take great pleasure in pointing out that unions keep jobs safe and that if they weren't so anti-union maybe I'd have some sympathy from them. I usually ask how it feels to shoot yourself in the foot for your backwards thinking.

Isn't that what the right says when it goes in their favor? Or does he want protectionism.

Why is everything that happens nowadays is Clinton's fault? :eyes: (Get a hangnail--Clinton's fault; it rains on your day off--Clinton's fault!)
When will the repugs understand that big business is corrupting this country with matters such as this! Yet there are people out there that will vote for a party, that supports them, that wouldn't even throw them a bone if they were starving! :wtf:
