Anybody read Lou Dobbs' comments on the demonstrations?
He says radicals have taken over the movement and thast May 1st was used because of it's communist ties and that the immigrant movement has finally shown it's "true colors". I say, Lou dobbs, you have finally shown YOUR true colors.

1. Nearly all leftist groups celebrate May Day
The fact that the communists of old have also used it as a rallying banner shows how much popular support it garners worldwide among all workers. Communism, for all its faults, was an attempt to correct the wrongs. We know the failures in that attempt, but that doesn't detract from the problem of exploitation of the poor by the wealthy and powerful.

2. He's just stirring up controversy
No one pays attention unless you say something that stirs up emotion, one way or the other. The same goes for DU, so sadly I guess it's just part of human nature.
