1. you sure you want to know??
The only poll I could find was the Quinnipiac and it looks pretty sad.

In a possible Democratic primary, the incumbent beats businessman Ned Lamont 68 - 13 percent.

"Liberal Democrats unhappy with Sen. Lieberman's position on the war can't find much good news in this poll. While Lieberman continues to be more popular with Republicans, he still enjoys a job approval rating of nearly 2-1 among Democrats, and 61 percent of Democrats think he deserves to be re-elected," Dr. Schwartz said.

2. According to reports I've seen, Joementum is at least clearly worried.
I don't know whether Ned actually has a chance at this point, but even if he doesn't, I think this race is critically important. People like Joe need to be put on notice that kissing Bush's ass is not going to be tolerated indefinitely, and that the voters WILL hold them accountable. The fact that Joe is even having go out there and explain himself is a victory in and of itself.

I'm also holding some real hope that Ned might manage to pull an upset.

3. Joe's approval ratings are pretty solid in CT

Lieberman, Joseph 57% approve, 38% disapprove 19%

which, according to SurveyUSA, is better than the net approval ratings for:

Kennedy, Edward
Durbin, Richard
Nelson, Bill
Reid, Harry
Boxer, Barbara
Kerry, John
Feingold, Russell
Levin, Carl
Landrieu, Mary
and others

DUers can feel free to claim that this poll has some sort of bias or is part of some conspiracy, but SurveyUSA releases monthly state by state polls of Bush that are incredibly unflattering. In my opinion, DU doesn't represent your average democrat, but your more active and progressive democrat.
