His "Situation Room" has addressed, in rapid succession, the L.A. mayor's opinion on whether the national anthem should be sung in Spanish, Mexico's decision to legalize possession of small amounts of marijuana and cocaine, Bush's use of the word "decider" and now, more on the Duke Lacrosse Team scandal. We've punctuated it with a plug for Paula Zahn's clip of a man who survived a 300 mph crash. Back to Jack Cafferty on Mexico's big news.

I usually get a look at a TV once or twice a year, often when stranded in a motel room with absolutely nothing better to do. I'm always shocked and amazed by how vapid and dumbed down toob culture is-- it's like bread and circuses without the actual bread or the circus. Why bother?
