Biggest War Protest March in New York April 29th, 2006.Where was news!
 Too bad this, or all the other protests going on right now all over the country don't get much coverage. Don't know what this world is coming to when you see coverage on what freakin language our national anthem should be sung in (who cares?!) but not one of the LARGEST anti-war protests in U.S. History!!!!! Footage from the Protest March in New York April 29th, 2006. Featuring the song "Dear Mr. President" by Pink. Great video,I didn't see on the news..There are also other videos to the song on this site.

1. See, there was no protest. It didn't really happen.
Doublethink.

2. Sheesh, people don't count!
You know what would get more people in the streets? Since TV offers very little, not watching it wouldn't be a big sacrifice. A boycott on cable and satellite could have a real impact, and it would force people to congregate with other people instead.

3. big media has decided which side its bread is buttered on...
...and it isn't the peace movement side. That's the answer, plain and simple.

6. I saw a close up video,not like the video I posted.
I think they said there were a fraction of the people, that showed up on that video. Anyone know how many were marching that day? My brother and his wife didn't even know there was a protest. They only watch the Aruba story and other non-news stories.I think people like to have their head in the sand.:hide:

5. some guy on msnbc talking about immigration protests summed it all up
we have to be shown that, unlike in venezuela and france, the power here is in washington, and not onthe streets.

i shit you not. that's exactly what he said (or at least a kick-ass paraphrasing)

7. I was really upset,by the news today. It was bull.
especially how they covered the Whitehouse dinner,I think they should stick to the news and keep the Media corporate bull out of it. It wouldn't be bad if they gave their own oppinion, but they act like brain dead image consultants for the WhiteHouse and GOP.
