1. Read the comments
I certainly hope Mike did. I was about to subscribe just so that I could respond to this f**ker.

Look like the commenters said everything I wanted to.

No worries, he will be flamed to a cinder. I've seen flamey threads over there and DU's got nothing on them.

:scared:

But David Sirota did.

My comments are getting heavily screwed with by the moderators over there. I guess I don't tell people to go fuck themselves enough.

9. Sirota was excellent as usual
A pity that McCurry has gone totally Beltway corporatist. For him to deny it now is ludicrous.

And I hate McCurry's newly coined term "net neut" as if it's a pejorative.

I'll give him a pejorative.

McCurry, you suck corporate dick.

2. Regarding the issue of Net Neutrality, if you want Congress to
protect the internet from AT&T deciding which websites should go faster and which should go slower, than use this form:

5. I don't trust congress or AT&T...
Net Neutrality was made in China.

10. Net Neutrality has been the way we've had the internet
in the US since its introduction.

6. Mike McCurry should learn to use the dictionary.
From his rant:

"You all worship at Vince Cerf who has a clear financial interest in the outcome of this debate but you immediately castigate all of us who disagree and impune our motives."

impune: adj. unpunished
impugn: verb. attack as false or wrong

I mean, yeah, it's not nice to criticize people's spelling on web boards. And I'm sure it's especially not nice to criticize someone who seems to be frothing at the mouth over some treasured political viewpoint. But this guy was a _press secretary_, and he can't spell "impugn"? Christ, that's sad.

7. Anyway... speaking of Net Neutrality ...
From Kos:

Net Neutrality Update

<snip>

We lost the vote in the Energy and Commerce Committee last week, but succeeded in getting a lot of the committee Democrats to our side. All it took was a little education from us. We need to exercise our educational abilities again in the next few days. Rep. Markey is going to be asking the Rules Committee to approve his legislation as an amendment to the COPE Act when it goes to the floor for a vote by the full House later on in the week. Contact the Rules Committee members to let them know the Markey network neutrality legislation should be considered by the entire House of Representatives.

List of Reps follow...
