Stupid Bimbo on NPR this Morning Gave Me An Early Adrenaline Rush |
|
I was only half awake, and not really listening as well as I could be when they started interviewing people on the effects of the "one day boycott" by Immigrants.
This woman -- a restaurant owner -- decided to keep hers open, and she told her workers that if they didn't come in to work, they would be fired. Then she got strident on the radio about "how DARE they threaten the economic security of this country?" (I am recalling her comments, and paraphrasing them a little, but I don't think much.)
Boy, did THAT wake me up!
So, let me get this straight, you STUPID GREEDY BIMBO CONSERVATIVE UNMENTIONABLE BLEEP:
*YOU* are hiring ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS so you can PAY THEM ILLEGALLY LOW WAGES and *NOT* ABIDE BY THE WORKER SAFETY LAWS OF THIS COUNTRY which means you can, in effect, TREAT THEM LIKE SLAVES and
YOU *BLAME THEM* FOR THREATENING THE ECONOMIC SECURITY OF THIS COUNTRY????
Throw the (bleeping) (bleeping) (bleep) IN JAIL (and I'm not talking about her workers!) because that is where SCUM SUCKING LAWBREAKERS LIKE HER BELONG.
GRRRR....

1. yep...and there's the crux of the problem right there... |
|
...I blame these "employers" (ie: slave owners) as much as the illegal immigrants themselves for this problem. The OTHER players are Vincente Fox and GWB - both historically sorry ass "leaders" who don't want to (or rather, cannot) do their own jobs in building or promoting a country that their own citizens can be proud of or want to live in -- or can thrive in for that matter.
Neaa, just send them someplace (anyplace) else. Move the problem. Don't solve it. That might make too much SENSE! Idiots.
WHAT a pretentiously hypocritical, arrogant attitude this woman has, eh?

2. But, you forget, she's sooooooo entitled and |
|
her life is worth sooooooo much more than anyone else's, especially the immigrants'.
I worked with the owner of a company in Tuscaloosa, AL, who thought she was a raving liberal. Yet, she treated her employees as pets at best and slaves at worse, and her employees are white, college-educated, middle class people. The one that wasn't educated and wasn't middle class was her virtual slave and she kept it that way with the wages she paid.
This is not a Republican-Democratic problem. It is a problem of arrogance and a sense of entitlement. It is just unfortunate that minorities get the brunt of this attitude.

3. Yeppers, which is why I keep posting the same thing here |
|
It's not the illegals, folks, who are driving your wages down, it's the scum sucking cheap labor conservatives in both parties who have depressed the minimum wage below starvation levels, it's the scum sucking cheap labor conservatives in both parties who stopped fining exploitative employers for hiring illegals at minimum wage (check Clinton's awful record), and it's the fucking idiots in the media who keep pushing the lies that the illegals are responsible for their own exploitation.
End illegal immigration. Raise the minimum wage and enforce the labor laws.

8. The report implied that she did. I believe the introduction to her |
|
was about how restaurants, etc. that use illegal workers were mostly closed for the day, but one that didn't was .... Etc.
The 100% implication was that she was going to fire her "illegal" workers if they didn't show up, and then she SAID she didn't appreciate them "threatening the economy" of this country.
You can go to www.npr.org in the morning edition comment section if you want to listen to the whole thing. As I said, I caught just enough to start me on an early morning blood boil!

this ones got to be nipped in the bud. I suspect this the repuke game-say one thing and do another. The repukes know they're in trouble. They need a new "enemy" the do over there so we don't have here sh** is worn out, so they create a new "enemy" one close to home and one they can blame for any number of problems, but who? Can't be blacks we can't appear racist, oops we've already done gays, ah that's it Mexicans-visible everywhere, speak a foreign language, perfect!!!! And keep harping on the illegal thang that way it seems OK to hate them. Mean while * says guest worker keeps his corporate buds happy (can't let this get too out of control) and repukes up for re-election can appear to be backing away from *. Repukes know nothing says votes like a convenient and common enemy.
