Remind me how the dichotomy of libertarians is supposed to work.
They tell us about no government. They tell people that it's their own fault for losing their jobs. They tell people that if they don't have something it's their fault.

But whenever something happens to them, it's never their fault. "I want paid vacation too!" "I want to work today!" "Why is this affecting me!" "Why am I losing my job?" (gee, you don't remember what you keep telling the rest of us?!?! The game works both ways. And you don't seem to grasp that; you're not special because you're a Lib! You're not the chosen people; either we all are or none of us.)

Libertarians: You're a handful of self-centered hypocrites; unworthy of the "values" you preach. You're a gaggle of phonies and nothing more.

1. Actually most of the right-libertarians I know are
fairly consistent. Consistently wrong and blinded by their rather short-sighted ideology, but consistent.

2. Good point, that is a very true and consistent point.
Still, "do unto others". One day they might just figure things out... then again, maybe not.

3. I never did like economic Libertarians much myself.
It's kind of a "I play the game well, no matter how screwed-up and immoral it is -- and no matter what advantages I have had to make it go my way -- so eff you if you aren't doing well" mentality. (Which plays too well here in the US, sadly.)

But when they're not doing well, then it seems that there's always someone or something else to blame.

We're all in this together... all of the time.
