That said, my guess is that Rove and Cheney and a few others aer thinking about this, but if they have any sense at all they will realize that, as you note, openly attacking him will just backfire. If they can figure out some way to do it completely quietly, they might do that. BUt I don't know how they would do it.

After all, the comedy channel is owned by Viacom and Sumner Redstone is
the founder and Pres/CEO.
The question is, if ratings go up, will he sacrifice the $$ for the cause?
