I'm sick of the mainstream media using phrases like "the Democrats were quick to jump on it...", and "the Democrats quickly countered with..." These kinds of phrases imply, subtly, that the Democrats are not an active political entity, but, rather, a passive bunch who only reacts. I see and hear this type of phrase constantly in the press and I'm really sick of it.
okay that's my rant for the day

I kind of dig the idea that the Dems are reacting on things. Not to really argue your opinion, but it is better than them saying the Dems did nothing. :)
