Matthews doing serious journalism - QUICK! Find an airplane
with some blown tires so we can preempt Dana Priest, right after Tweety FINALLY figures out that his "sunnily noble" leader has lied to him.

Seriously, he just had on the CIA agent, Tyler Drumheller, and another man, who both said that Bush/Cheney used their intellegence to make a case for war incorrectly. They kept stressing that they did not get involved with policy, that was Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld. He finally gets it. And now, when Dana Priest is going to be on, they preempt for the airplane.

Now, this plane landed about 5 minutes ago, and we have to talk about burning fuel, switching runways, the pilot, blah, blah, blah.

Now, back to Hardball. Wonder if Dana Priest is gone. Oh, they are going to shorten this now, only a couple of minutes.

1. It is rather screwy, isn't it?
Glad the plane landed safely, but isn't it convenient how much of the newly serious Tweety we missed??

6. 32% now, got Dana right off
Thank God, we don't have to listen to that Pulitzer Prize winner over serious stuff like NSA spying or secret prisons or lies about WMDs.

7. Funny how most of us here knew BACK WHEN everything they're saying
And we didn't have intelligence resources. Just refined b.s. detectors. As for Tweety, too late.

8. Must see stuff - Shuster threw Cheney
on the very top of the pile. Went much further then yesterday with more detail on wilson outing and the degree of damage on Iran nukes she was working on. He put the responsibility squarely on DICK.

14. once they get moveing
it'll get competitive and be pretty hard to stop. Colbert rocks and broke the ice if I'm reading my media right. I wouldn't under estamate the impact of standing in front of the very media that got us in the situation we are in and speak truth that couldn't be ignored in a way that wasn't funny one bit.

9. Chuck Todd says chimps
best and only hope in Nov. is large scale natural disaster and FEMA actually works and that still might not be enough. Finman says Repubs will abandom * if he hits Iran (though I disagree, I think it's the only chance chimpy has to keep the house).
