no money for the "war on drugs" another bush failure
the bush budget proposal could effect funding for 20 multi county drug task forces in illinois. the blackhawk area task force (northern illinois) has done a good job in cleaning up the meth ,crack, coke, and junk dealers and meth labs in the last several years. the task force targets mid-level and lower dealers and works with the feds by rolling people to get more information on the major weight dealers. i would link this but my stupid paper is pass worded for some odd reason.

what is ironic about this is that they thought bush was a tough "law and order guy" and they voted for him...somehow i do pity the fools... they are coming to the realization that he doesn`t give two shits about the war on drugs and that he cares only about his "visions"

1. Meth is a medical problem and it's too bad we can't fund clinics
By taking the legal aspect away, we can stop filling prisons with typically non-violent drug offenders and instead give them unhindered medical treatment.

2. no money for the WOD is a good thing, IMO....
The WOD has been a terrible waste of time, money, and lives. It's been going on for what?-- 35 years or so since Nixon announced an official WOD policy in 1971-- and it has utterly failed to produce any positive outcome. What's that definition of insanity? Continuing to do the same thing over and over hoping for a different outcome? That's the WOD. Utterly insane. Starving that beast is good for everyone.

4. Good!...The war on drugs is bullshit.
All that stuff should be legal, and they should start making Quaaludes again as well.

5. Those "drug task forces" are a sham.
You need to do more research.

I'm glad about this.
