HELP! Lobby Reform Bill - Who are the Dems that are going to support?
Unless they are willing to add a provision that guarantees time to read each bill and allows for bi-partisan conference committees, and that places a time limit on how long a bill can be held open, this bill should not be passed. Jim McDermott(MA) is on right now saying some Dems plan to vote for it. Anyone know who those Dems are so we can target them.

1. The stupid ones?

;)

I suggest we all start calling our elected Dem representatives and senators, if we're lucky enough to have them.

Really we need to call the republicans too...

2. And email. Here's link to members of Congress. I emailed and
called Walden's office. He's a repug but he's not as popular as he used to be, been forced to vote with the Dems occassionally. Let's pressure some of the more moderate Pugs!!

17. Well at least you tried. Do you get the feeling that people are
just outrage weary? I am, there is so much going on every day. So many crooks doing so many rotten ugly things I reach a real burnout. Some days I feel like I just can't make another call, send another email.

18. Yeah, I see that that is the case... very clearly...
and it's not accidental.

And with the emotionally inflammatory things going on in the news (immigration, Duke rape case, etc.)... it gets really hard to stay focused.

Thanks for trying... and doing as much as you can. :)
