The article itself is written pretty much down the middle, but the accompanying picture of Bush looking like he just bit into a lemon is priceless. The jug-eared little prick's expression clearly reveals his vapid, immature, and cowardly nature. It's like that day back in the 5th grade when you finally turned to the class bully and said, "Either fuck off or come get a piece, because I'm tired of you and all your shit."

For his courage in looking Bush straight in the eye while publicly eviscerating him, Stephen Colbert has earned a spot in my personal pantheon of heroes.

23. What a shame.
I thought it was a free country. I thought people were allowed to have different opinions.

Trouble? What are you talking about? Are you serious?

I'm "in trouble"? Should I be worried about that? Do you realize what you said?

And this is from an Admin.

This is ridiculous. I'm off the board now.

6. Colbert Worship Chapel
When Stephen discovers the cure for cancer, you are gonna eat your words.

Colbert is Clapton and Zappa rolled into one!

It is our collective duty as lesser humans to make Stephen the center of the entire Internets!

which has been the Bush monarchy's most insurmountable weapon. And the fact that the media is grudgingly taking notice four days later only proves Colbert's point.

16. Freedom of choice gives you the power NOT to click on the thread
The point is that the title was clearly labeled as to the content of this thread and it was not a Colbert ambush thread, luring the unwary reader in with falsehoods. Just don't do it if it causes you such angst!

Why give yourself a reason to be so unsettled at this early hour with the bulk of the day yet to come? But I suppose if this is the biggest thing that upsets you today, you have a relatively good life though...

19. It's the audacity of the whole thing!
This administration has basically received a free pass from the press. Now, here's a satirist a couple of feet away from the bubble boy just banging him.
No, no cure for cancer; but almost a miracle just the same.

15. The best part was that the targets of Colbert's derision quit laughing.
They took devastating hits and they knew it. It was sweet and it's even sweeter when you hear one of them bloviate about how unfunny he was. It was a tour de force. They were not laughing but they were listening-- very uncomfortably.

M$M... Caught you with your pants down... Just go write down what the decider decides, and put it through spell check, and go home.... Write that novel you have kicking around in your head. You know, the one about the intrepid reporter who exposes corruption in Washington...
