I've been listening to his stuff all of my life, and a lot of it has been not good, but great. His Greendale CD a few years back was an obvious commentary about social conservatism.

DUers are always expounding on "single issue voters." I don't believe Neil Young is a single issue or narrow-minded person. I'll suggest to you that Young is as real, whole, and complicated as any other person. Not being a cardboard cutout, he has explored many paths in his lifetime, and sought to resolve his ideas and issues in more than one arena.

Like most real people.
