Just listening for a few minutes, I have to say Dylan sounds great. He's telling the history of some of the old blues artists, then playign their songs....

Sunday NYTimes kind of spoiled it a bit because they published some of Dylan's intros to the songs.
On edit: it is good to hear his smooth voice though. He's a natural as a DJ. (And it's an interesting selection of songs.)

5. Ah, didn't see that... |
|
Yes, it's great to hear him talking about these musicians / singers. He played Jimi Hendrix, and now Judy Garland....very eclectic!

...it's "equally amazing?" Since it's Dylan's first show?

Dylan sounds great! His commentary is right on. Judy Garland?? Great stuff! Deep tracks indeed. This is great example of why I am so addicted to my satellite radio!

12. no, it's a pay service, but affordable |
|
is it worth $12/ month to listen to AAR? To me, yes--and then you get all the other channels too. It was really great in the hospital while I was recovering from surgery recently.

11. Whoah, Dylan was speaking Spanish!!! |
|
Satellite radio requires the purchase of a special radio, and various items to plug into it (satellite, etc.) depending on how you purchase it. It's not free - about $10 a month. You might be able to get just an online subscription at XMradio.com though.
