We have court tomorrow for sit in at Delahunts. What's'Nolle Prosequi" |
|
We got a call from from our lawyer/ she spoke with the ADA. They will not be prosecuting the case and we will get a 'nolle prosequi'. She asked the reason and was given silence in return. So she suggested perhaps it was ridiculous that we were arrested- no repsonse, no evidence of tresspassing- no response and the ADA would not say why they would not prosecute
Is this the hand of Delahunt moving without appearing to move. I am sure the DA's office had some contacts with Delahunt. We would have been an embarassment if we made a case for Delahunt. The first word in my head is Coward. AND he STILL refuses to meet with Cape Codders for Peace and Justice
I wan't my bail money back- if they aren't going to tell me why I was arrested-
Please help here guys- I'm going to wear a tee-shirt and only have limited room- front and back to make a statement while standing in front of the judge.
BUSH is a WAR CRIMINAL Why Won't Delahunt talk to us?

2. We were arrested in his office trying to make an appointment |
|
to talk with him regarding HR4232. Had written numerous letters/phone calls for 5 months and not one single reply. They had the cops come and arrest us for trespassing during normal office business hours.

7. Sorry, but I have no sympathy for you. |
|
You should be quite happy he didn't press charges.
Further, why exactly are you keeping a vigil in the first place? Just because he doesn't want to sign on as a co-sponsor to McGovern's bill, even though he's on Murtha's bill? He's not exactly in a pro-war stance. You sound like petulent children, to be perfectly honest. What did you expect to happen?

8. Well I'm not happy- I am willing to stop sitting behind a keyboard |
|
and btw- Murtha's bill is still VERY Hawkish- McGovern's actually does something.
Thanks for your support!

9. I happen to like McGovern's bill better too. |
|
And I happen to love Jim as a whole, but Murtha's bill is not hawkish. It's called a compromise - something that might actually get done. Either way, there's still no excusing your actions.
