graduation speakers - if one of these top rethugs were the speaker |
|
would you skip your graduation
I think of Bush I at gwu and rice in boston, and any of these thugs - what a way to ruin a graduation I would have to think twice about going - the keynote speaker really sets the tone - and if it is one of these dweebs yuck
what do you think?

2. bush is speaking at MS Gulf Coast Community College Commencement |
|
I have no reason to attend but if I were a student, I wouldn't go. I would try to organize an alternative commencement with a literate speaker.
bush 41 and Clinton will be speaking at the Tulane University (New Orleans) commencement next weekend. That I would attend because of Clinton.

3. Bush doesn't deserve to give Graduation speeches |
|
I've seen his speeches before.
Most speakers, even current and former Presidents, talk about academics and life and philosophies and all that expected stuff. You know, intellectual, "you're on the right path", "live long and prosper" kinda things.
Not the Smirk.
He gets up there at the podium and gives the same damn speech he gives every other day, promoting and discussing only himself and his twisted agenda in order to futher his lies and "catapult the propaganda"
Its pathetic

4. Chimpy was at Yale in 2001 |

to get an honorary degree, along with some other folks. Actor Sam Waterston got a bigger ovation than the Chimp, and this was before 9/11. Just shows the folks of New Haven have class, and knows who really works for their university.

of the time Ronald Reagan gave the "keynote speech" at Notre Dame-- and it was his "deathbed" speech from the Knute Rockne movie.
And he fluffed it: when he said "Win one for the Gipper," he pronounced it "Giffer," and then had to correct himself, looking senile.
And every major network news show covered it-- and every major network news show cut away from the actual tape to the film clip. We the people were not allowed to see our figurehead-in-chief fuck up.
So don't fall into the trap of thinking the media cover for BushCo only because of the nicknames. They've had a lot of practice making pinheads look presidential, to our national detriment.
