You know that this CNN clip will make it to Jon Stewart |
|
Daily Show:
There was a high school shooting in Philadelphia. Daryn Kagan was interviewing someone - did not catch who it was:
Kagan: were the shooters a boy or a girl?
Woman: I really cannot tell
Kagan: do we know the motive?
Woman: I really cannot tell
and so it went. Practically every question that Kagan asked the reply was: I don't know, I cannot tell, etc.
Why not first talk to the woman off camera to find out what she does know?
Or was it because Faux was doing the same thing?
I was doing something else, half listening and not watching, but could not escape this ridiculous exchange

1. If she was a journalist, your question would be valid |

but she, like most of the talking heads on TV, is only there to look good and read prepared text.

2. The Limbaugh story on this week Newsweek |
|
has her photographed with him with admiring eyes usually reserved for groupies or wives of political candidates.
Not online but perhaps someone can find it or scan and post.
I had to wonder whether someone like that would have any credibility as a "reporter.

3. The best part was when she concluded by saying |
|
that there COULD be another shooter on the loose still (even though there was absolutely NO evidence to support her statement).
