The reporters should not have been that unhappy about Colbert
comments.

In his "audition video" at least, some of them - the guy from NBC and Terry Moran (ABC?) appeared quite demanding and insisting on answers. Perhaps they can share in the ballification of Colbert..

1. Did you catch the look on Susan Malvo's face?!?
Edited on Wed May-03-06 10:51 AM by ShortnFiery
Malvo was loaded for bear ... she had one of those looks such that I have when PMS is serious ... my husband knows when he sees such "a look" on my mug - to not cross me tonight, honey! :nuke:

5. I believe the "audition video" was comprised of clips from previous
briefings.

Those were questions the reporters had asked Scottie.

7. Yes, this was obvious
and the reporters on that clip went after Scotty with a vengeance normally not found among them.

This is what I meant when I said that at least on this clip they looked good, assertive, demanding answers.

The one with a very young Dan Rather is a classic, of course. He was very critical of Nixon and Watergate and when he stood to ask a question there was a round of applause. So Nixon asked him: are you running for something? And Rather, intuitively replied: No, Mr. President. Are you?

6. fox employees were pissed and the rest scared to death to hear the truth
planted in the nude emporers face.

case in point. compare the over the top belly laughs at bushs wmd jokes from last year to colberts uncomfortable reception this year.
conclusion. they are frightened of bush. actually scared for their health and livelihoods.
