Let's get Jack Cafferty to discuss Colbert.
Edited on Wed May-03-06 10:56 AM by kittenpants
It seems like the perfect topic for what he does--it's funny, controversial, polarizing... I know Cafferty is not very progressive at times, but he usually has the 'balls' to discuss things that no one else on CNN will.

Here's a link to his CNN page. http://www.cnn.com/feedback/forms/form5.html?65

edit: this is my email...
Hi Jack,
I would love to see you discuss Stephen Colbert's performance at the White House Correspondents Dinner. I haven't seen anything on CNN about it, and no matter what people think about it (liked it or thought it was over the top), it was definitely startling to see someone mock Bush to his face like that. Plus, I thought it was pretty funny!

1. Naw, he's got an anti-immigrant ugly side ...
I don't know about him signing on to this one either.

He was heroic during Katrina and continuing on through this latest gas hikes.

But I don't think he's a Cobert supporting kind of Conservative Guy?

Hope I'm wrong, but I think not.

2. I know he can be a caveman on some issues
but I think he also seems like the type that might like to see someone rubbing Bush's nose in it.

3. Hey KP, it's worth a try!
He reminds me of my deceased father. Very rough on the exterior, but in all his behavior toward others, he revealed the heart of a compassionate social worker.

Yes, I'll join you in shooting off an email his way. Thanks. :-)

4. I'll add Colbert to this suggestion...
I'm sending to Cafferty.

Hey, Jack!

Love your segments, but I have a couple suggestions for timely subjects:

1) The response by most of the media to Stephen Colbert's performance at the WHCD--po'd, or hiding from the truth...and,

2) Your take on this article:

http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,20867,19019060-2703,00.html

Will that embassy be named the G.W. Bush Embassy or Palace?

It's getting to the point where the best news sources are foreign. Why's that?

Keep up the good work!
