The Conversation about Bush is Over.
The media/political discourse on the disaster that is the Bush presidency continues — with many former supporters jumping on the Bush-bashing bandwagon (opportunistic, cowardly fucks). I realize this discussion is inevitable, but a continued national conversation, or “debate,” about the performance of BushCo is both absurd and harmful. It’s absurd because an accurate verdict that Bush and every person associated with him are corrupt motherfuckers was rendered by intelligent people the exact second we heard he was considering running for office. It’s harmful because a continuing discussion about what fuckups these assholes are defers actual punitive action against them to a later date.

Enough talk.

Impeach.

Indict.

Convict.

1. It's too early to talk about impeachment, IMO
The more we talk impeachment before the mid-terms, the more we alienate the "mushy middle" voters who might vote Dem if they don't become too scared of something radical like that.

After the mid-terms, yeah, have at it!! Let the investigations begin!

2. Never get a conviction in the Senate, nor an indictment in the House...

...until Democratic majorities hopefully take over both after mid-terms.

3. Can't Convict in the Senate Without a Lot of Republican Votes. Need 2/3
Getting a 2/3 majority in the Senate is mathematically impossible.

We cannot impeach ** without a lot of Republican votes as well.
