On Iraq:

CBS News Poll. April 28-30, 2006. N=719 adults nationwide. MoE ± 4 (for all adults). RV = registered voters

"Do you approve or disapprove of the way George W. Bush is handling the situation with Iraq?"


Approve
ALL adults 30%
  Republicans 63%
  Democrats 9%
  Independents 26%

Disapprove
ALL adults 64%
 Republicans 31%
  Democrats 88%
  Independents 65%

Unsure
ALL adults 6%
  Republicans 6%

2. Iraq will define his presidency.
Nothing he ever did right(is there anything?) nor will do in the future will matter one whit-- because of Iraq.

The chimp looked at his gut, took a big gamble and lost. He probably actually believed Rummy and Cheney knew what the hell they were doing. He surely didn't know anything about foreign policy himself.
