Recovering from Bush Damage
How long do you think it will take our country to undo the damage of Bush's 2 terms? Personally, I think it's going to take over half of this century.

1. In the Middle East it will take forever. Thery're still pissed about
the Crusades.

They will never forget or forgive.

4. I think this is why I cried so much when he became President
because after all the progress made during the Clinton administration, I saw us returning to the Reagan/Bush years. I did not envision anything as bad as this though.

5. i think it depends...
I mean, ever since shrub's taken office i've had this fantasy about when his run is over... and we send someone to the UN to basically get in front of everyone and say "Look, we're really sorry about that last gang of dumbasses... they really fucked things up. How can we make things better?"

without any sort of mia culpa, we're screwed for a long time imo.

6. I don't think it will happen in my lifetime. Bush has done more
damage to this country with his endless wars, his assault of the environment, his financial excesses and diplomatic disasters that it will take decades before the nation recovers from the abuse. I was certainly unhappy when he was selected for his first term, but there was no way I ever imagined that one man could do so much damage in so short a time.

7. Unless Dems can get control of everything again, the harm
could be permanent. This crew tipped it so far that we need an equal (or greater) tip on the opposite side.
