1. Ask a question Joe. He's asking about CAP: did you include CAP on resume
Edited on Wed Jan-11-06 02:18 PM by CottonBear
because it would appeal to the job interviwers?

A. "I don't recall anything about CAP or putting it on my resume."

"I don't remember belonging." :wtf:

Q. "I can't understand why you listed CAP.

A. "I wsn't a member of that club..." :wtf:

6. did you all hear Cass Sunstein on with Al Franken?

From Al Franken's site on Air America radio:
Cass Sunstein, a professor of law at the University of Chicago. He'll talk about the Judge Alito hearings, and his writings for The New Republic.

Mr. Sunstein said that Alito's ruled on a few cases
where he dissented with the majority of his conservative
collegues seated with him because he was MORE CONSERVATIVE than
them.

11. "We can't know everything about the Real World"
Edited on Wed Jan-11-06 02:23 PM by doublethink
that comment of Alito's a minute ago is going to stay in my head forever. He said it in the context of not knowing a damn thing of Women needing more leave time after a Pregnancy before going back to work. And yet he makes decisions that effect the 'real lives' of 'real people' in the 'real world' ..... typical Republican thinking. Peace.
on edit: my point being, Republicans live in a 'Ideological World' and don't know a damn thing about the 'Real World' do they. Peace.

Seems to me that CONGRESS should be able to access them, since they are in CONGRESS's library.

The public is one thing, the gubmint is another. They need to get those damn papers. I posted the general contents elsewhere, and let me tell ya, ya gotta wonder if this clown didn't have a BIGGER role in CAP than he is acknowledging.

I think this whole CAP shit might be his achille's heel.....

Any former or current government librarians out there who knows the procedure for access to shielded documents????

OMG. Why can't America see Alito for what he is: a man who thinks "morality" means outlawing abortion, impeaching a President for extra-marital sex, siding with corporations as "citizens", and in general regarding the law as just dry words on lifeless paper---to be ignored by TPTB when convenient and to be used against "the little guy" when profitable?

76. A-Lie-To is just so clever.
It's not him or his interpretation that ruled 84% against individual rights. No, no, no he just did what the law called for.

A-Lie-To asks if "a reasonable person..." shows that he is NOT reasonable.
