You caved in too easily. It's not a question as to which is proper, but just fodder for the debate for the sake of debate, like the great toilet paper debate - over or under. And that is exactly what I/P forum is like for me at times ;)

I lasted one term and swore never again I wanted to be in there. I swear it would actually be safer to be on the Israel-Palenstinean border than to be the moderater in the IP forum

were because of postings in that forum.

I'm extremely careful now to qualify everything I post there.

And if the post only consists of an article snippet, I run away.
That's a perfect recipe for a flame war.

BTW, why doesn't the GD rule (Don't just post the story snippet) also
apply to I/P?
