Columbia-based W.R. Grace says three of its employees were on board the US Airways commuter plane that crashed on takeoff at Douglas International Airport in Charlotte Wednesday.

Recent Company News

The three were en route to a Grace facility in Enoree, S.C.

Paul Stidham, 46, was director of environment health and safety for Grace's corporate headquarters in Columbia. He joined the company in July 2002.

Joseph Spiak, 46 and Richard Lyons, 56 both worked for Grace Performance Chemicals in Cambridge Mass. Spiak had been with the company since 1981. Lyons joined the company in 1969.
