Not even 10 minutes and the Freepers are blaming Liberals for life verdict
Here's the link:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1626147/posts?q=1&&page=394#394

Some tidbits:

"Some jurors cared about his poor abused childhood. Liberal loons!!"

"Liberals can call this a win. They in fact today make it out that we are wrong to kill ANY terrorist. UNREAL."

I monitor so you don't have to.

2. Didnt the Judge say he didnt believe Mousaui even knew about the 911 attac
Id say that carried most of the weight behind the verdict. Damned activist Judges and juries...

8. Yes but..
She did not say that in the presence of the jurors. It was a closed session with the lawywers. This nutcase had no real knowledge of any terrorist attack.

executing him.

They want to give him what he wanted? Fucking traitors!

If they are going to support the terrorists they should pack their bags and move out of our country.

9. Thees Jurors did their civic duty.
Many employers do not pay employers wages if they are not there, so I'll bet some if not many of the jurors lost money as a result of their jury service.
Casting aspersions at these jurors is pretty low.
Who the hell are these people to question the decision the 12 honest jurors came to?

The sentence works for me. He will not be a martyr - but I don't think life will be pleasant for him. I think he is nuts and didn't know anything think about a greater plan anyway.

17. You could have...
gone to the FBI building anytime before Sept 11, 2001 and told them the plan, the names of the people carrying it out and the fucking flight numbers and they would have tossed you in jail for wasting their time.

This whole thing was a massive screwup by our intelligence agencies and they refuse to admit the fact that they share some of the responsibility for all the deaths. If they could hang it on one delusional schizophrenic they would be as happy as pigs in shit.

Just what does anyone think will happen to him in an open prison population? I think he just wanted to control the circumstances. The whole trail was a sham, if you'll remember the judges opening statement to the effect of "we aren't here to decide his guilt that has already been decided":wtf:

30. Wonder how many of them would like to sit in prison v. ending it quick?
Instead of giving "Radical Islam" their martyr, Zach gets to watch himself be reduced to a MTV "Wonder where they are NOW?" blip-vert.

I dunno, spend the next 40-odd years in jail, listen to young guts get raped and trying to avoid getting shanked myself, or just getting it over with, especially since my religion promises me 70-odd nibbly virgins when I die...

DUH! Further proof that FReepie morans have no brains.

Edited on Wed May-03-06 04:32 PM by gatorboy
Don't they realize the man wanted death? Just because in our culture it's considered the worst punishment available doesn't mean it would've been the best decision. The man WANTED to die! It seems to me they would be happy to NOT give him his final wish. No virgins for him! And as someone said earlier, prison will probably not be a picnic for the asshole.

This really does confuse me about those guys.
