At the gas station today....
I was filling up as they were changing the numbers on the price sign to $3.29 a gallon. On the other side of the pump this guy in a big SUV was filling up. I commented on the price and how we are getting reamed. He looked at me with bitter contempt in his eyes and looked away, angrily ignoring me.

I wonder who he voted for?

I've noticed that people who supported bu$h all along just wont engage in conversation about their boy any more. They either angrily ignore you or do the fingers in the ears "I cant hear youuuuu" shtickt.

It sucks to realize that YOU HAVE BEEN HAD!

1. Well, false pride and stupidity go hand-in-hand. A smart person
can admit when they are wrong.

2. It sucks even worse when you look in your wallet and realize that
not only have you been had, you've been had for a lousy three hundred buck tax break. How many fillups will that get them???

They sold themselves so CHEAPLY!!!

3. Bush supporters that I know don't want to talk about it anymore
no politics at all. They aren't even comfortable with the "Well he WON!" line anymore. They just don't want to be reminded of how PLAYED they were.

13. I've still got a couple across the street
I find it rather amusing to watch them slink in and out of their house with their faded out twisted up Made in China flag swinging in the wind.

I wonder when they will wake the f_ up?

They have 3 kids; 2 boys and a girl btw and they aren't toddlers either.

:kick:

6. Your comment seems harmless enough.
He could have just agreed. What's his problem? Were you filling up a non-guzzler?

10. Not really. I have a Mutang GT. 25 HWY and 18 City.
But with my long hair and tye-dyed shirt he probably pegged me for a "librul".

Oh well... I may have judged him after the fact. Silly me!
But at the time I wasnt "judging" him. Just pointing out my disgust. I didnt mention bu$h or politics at all during the whole deal.

7. I had a Chevy Tahoe (for business hauling) and when I sold it a
year ago it cost $75 to fill the tank. My little Buick now takes almost that much.

Oh the times they are a changin' . . .

11. Big price at the pump makes SUV-man's penis shrivel even more.
What's left to boost his manhood? I know! Tell him that Prius is a derivative of Priapus. That should get those hybrid sales up. Know what I mean, Vern?

15. Well at least they still got their guns.
Can't afford to go hunting and if they could the woods are being chopped down and bulldozed, but they got guns!

16. With all the noise at gas stations, maybe he thought you were
saying something else? And since you were not driving an SUV, he was turning his nose up at you. :P

20. Every Vote For * In 2004 Equals 1¢ At The Pump Today
They've realized 18 months too late. Lucky me – I ride the bus to work and the price of my monthly pass hasn't increased in months!
