how dare arlen specter who covered up JFK's murder impugn Ted Kennedy? |
|
i can't tell you how many republican assholes call into cspan to moan and weep and thrash about that awful ted kennedy daring to doubt the integrity of the honorable judge alito.
but i can't get over the audacious surrealism of arlen 'magic bullet' specter of the warren commission cover up grilling ted kennedy and insulting him, after arlen was involved in president Kennedy's murder and official cover up all those years ago.
crazy world huh?

18. Because , unfortunately, Ted has skeletons rattling around in HIS closet |
|
As good of a person as he has turned out to be, his Chappaquiddick episode has "wounded" him for his whole career.. With the media we have developed, the sad fact is that OUR politicians must be purer than Caesar's wife.
We have no media of any consequence "covering" for our people, and the other side has a plethora of "downplayers" in the press.
We also have more than our share of dangerously "bi-partisan" legislators who readily provide cover for the republicans , so they can get their pictures in the paper with them.

Famed because of what an absolute joke and insult it is toward the truth and legacy of John F. Kennedy.

is that the American people have never DEMANDED the truth. They have just laid down and bought the official lie like a bunch of hungry pigs being slopped.

9. You know, lots of things happened many years ago. |
|
I don't think you & I will ever know what really happened in the Kennedy assasintation. My grandchildren MIGHT, but we won't. I can't recall what it was, but there's some report from the assassination that was sealed for 75 years. Maybe history will know when it's unsealed.
I feel the same way about Dems criticizing Arlan as I do about the Pubs constantly criticizing Teddy about Chappaquiddick. Both happened in the '60's! That's almost 40 years ago! Both sides need to burry the hatchet and go on!
Two Senators were arguing today. That's all. It made for good TV! I understand Teddy won the argument.

19. we cannot let JFK assassination go |
|
we can't let the JFK mystery stay buried any more than we can let 9/11 stay unsolved.
Everything significant that has happened in our gov't since JFK is connected back in some way. We must continue to get at the answers--we are getting closer on all of this every day--or we are, sadly, doomed to witness it over and over again (to paraphrase).
Comparatively the Chappaquiddick thing is a blip. An error by a flawed human being, that resulted in the death of one person. An accident that shouldn't have happened but did, and Senator Kennedy has had to shoulder the burden ever since...

10. Interesting point . . . since every time TK opens his mouth, you can |

hear the chants of "Chappaquiddick" and "Mary Jo" from the freepturds who never heard of Laura Welch killing her boyfriend, or Bill Janklow . . .
Hey Arlen, where's the missing Autopsy photos of JFK?

11. Any idea what Ted Kennedy believes about the assassination? |
|
I know most people in the motorcade believed that Oswald was the lone shooter. The Connallies, Yarborough, Jackie. Who knows what LBJ believed, he made statements all over the map on the issue.
For the record, I used to believe there had to be more than one shooter and that the "magic bullet" was nonsense, until I started looking at the case more closely. Now I don't think it's possible that there was more than one shooter. I guess I'm just one of those dumb-ass uniformed sheeple that get picked on around here, though.

16. I'm sorry, I can't agree with so-called 'magic bullet' theory |
|
I have been a student of the JFK assassination for many years. "Magic bullet' theory was based on faulty assumptions about positions of JFK and Connaly in vehicle. I've been laughing about this "bullet would have had to stop for 1 second, turn right and change angles" or whatever, for years. Yes, there were some strange occurrences, coincidences, and lots of people who didn't like JFK. I'm not saying Oswald wasn't hired by someone, but he was a pretty good marksman and it has been shown time and time again that in all likelihood he could have done the shooting alone. Flame away.
