Another GOP Sex Scandal-Strippers On Govt. Credit Card
Another GOP Sex Scandal...This Time $1,462 For Strippers Was Charged On Govt. Credit Card...
Chicago Tribune | Hal Dardick | Posted May 3, 2006 05:45 PM

From weblogsinc.com

After revelations that he racked up $1,462 in Chicago strip club charges on his government credit card, one of Will County's most prominent municipal leaders found himself on the defensive Tuesday.

Though Mike Smith, the president of New Lenox, reimbursed the village for the charges with a personal check, he conceded he made "a very, very bad mistake. I can't say anything else about that; just very poor judgment.

3. he concedes to "very poor judgement" and a "a very bad mistake"
He needs to concede that he and a ton of other republican party members are nothing more than a pack of perverted hyproctrits when it comes to "christian" family values?

12. I'm surprised he didn't say...
It was also a youthful indiscretion. After all, he was younger yesterday than he is today.

8. "Very bad mistake. Very poor judgment." Here is my read on it:
Just like Cheney's shooting of Whittington, this was probably a judgment lapse induced by consumption of beverage ethanol. It is hard to imaging that an un-impaired mind would even consider using a government credit card for such a purchase. Of course, the male "brain" does strange things after long confinement behind a zipper or under a repressive religion.

9. Are people such as the ex-president of New Lenox trying to get caught?
A modicum of discretion is customary in such endeavors, Mr. Smith.
