Dole's desperate plea: "Our backs are up against the wall!" |
|
Edited on Wed May-03-06 06:19 PM by William Seger
Elizabeth Dole's latest solicitation for the National Republican Senatorial Committee: the "ultra liberals" are at the castle gate! The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) needs your immediate help to prevent the most left-wing Democrat Party in history from seizing control of the United States Senate this November...
...And destroying every single Republican gain we've made over the last six years.
In an all-out attempt to seize complete power in Washington, ultra liberal Democrats like Russ Feingold, Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer are unleashing vicious, coordinated attacks against President Bush, his agenda and our team of Republican Senate candidates.
Now, our President and our candidates need your help to strike back against these desperate liberals and protect our Republican Majority in the Senate!
That's why I am urging you to step up to the plate today and make a generous donation to the NRSC right now - today.
Click here to make an immediate online contribution.
If the liberal Democrats succeed in 2006, it will only be a short matter of time before these Feingold-Reid-Schumer Democrats see that our worst fears are realized. They will:
* Increase your taxes. * Block all of President Bush's judicial nominees and allow our court to be run by liberal activist judges. * Call for endless congressional investigations, congressional censure and maybe even impeachment of President Bush.:woohoo: * Put the War on Terrorism on the back-burner. * Go on an unprecedented spending spree. * Take over the White House in 2008!
As Chair of the NRSC, I want to assure you that I am working 'round the clock to help our country avoid this disaster.
But with the massive amounts of money being raised daily by the Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee, numerous "527 Committees," Big Labor bosses, radical Hollywood elitists and liberal billionaires like George Soros...
...Our backs are up against the wall.
And that's why I'm urging you to make a generous contribution of $50, $100 or even $250 to the NRSC right now - today.
If you feel more comfortable with a contribution of $33 - just $1 for each Senate race in 2006 - your financial support is much needed and will be greatly appreciated.
Your generous support in any amount will ensure the NRSC is fully prepared to help each and every one of our 33 Republican Senate candidates build the largest, strongest campaign organizations possible.
However, if I can't count on capable, dedicated Republicans like you to pitch in with your financial support today, we won't be able to effectively respond to the Democrats' unfair, negative attacks...
...And the most left-wing Democrat Party I've seen in my lifetime will soon control our federal government.
Please help to protect our vital Republican Majority in the Senate by contributing to the NRSC immediately. Thank you.
With my warmest best wishes, Elizabeth Dole

1. I think Elizabeth "Sugar Lips" Dole has her work cut out for her for |
|
November.
The impression I get from the modern-day GOP is that anyone who believes in the Bill of Rights is an "ultraliberal."

2. It would be difficult for ANYONE to follow Bush into office and go on an |
|
"unprecedented spending spree." NOBODY spends taxpayer money the way Bush has.
After reading her note, I think Elizabeth has been spending too much time sniffing Bob's soiled Depends.

This broad has some mighty big balls mentioning spending spree and bush in the same sentence (and I HATE the word broad, by the way, but it fits here). Yuck.

21. "And destroying every single Republican gain......." |
|
Edited on Wed May-03-06 07:08 PM by butlerd
Notice how she makes this all about how Democrats threaten what the REPUBLICANS(and their benefactors) have gained over the past 6(-12) years? It is sad that what she does not seem to realize (or care about) is that the Republican's so-called "gains" have come almost entirely AT THE EXPENSE OF EVERYBODY ELSE and more and more people seem to (finally) be realizing it! As far as the "gains" that she speaks of, WHAT is she talking about? Crumbling underfunded public schools, 9/11, Tora Bora, Iraq War II, Hurricane Katrina, Terri Schiavo, ILLEGAL domestic wiretapping, 750 "signing statements," Abu-Gharib, Gitmo, "Medicare Reform," attempted Social Security "(de)-form"? :wtf: Whatever "gains" that have come from any of these things have certainly NOT been a "gain" for the American public and the GOP CANNOT blame ANY of these things on Democrats as Bush and the Republicans have managed to effectively "shut" Democrats(other than a rare and occasional DINO) out of the legislative process since they've been in complete control of both houses. Her fear of "ultra-liberals" running amok in 2007 seems extremely STRANGE given that most Democrats are hardly what I would consider to be "liberal(we only wish!)" She IS right to worried about the prospect of investigations if we win big in 2006, although, compared to the 1998 "Monicagate" Impeachment, Bush's "High Crimes & Misdemeanors" can hardly be considered "frivolous." Amazingly, not even "Watergate" can compare to the shenanigans that the country has been exposed to by Bush in the past 6 years. Nixon almost looks like a "saint" compared to Bush, as does Reagan. Creepy, eh? :scared: Too bad Mrs. Dole and the rest of her political "kin" have FAILED time and time again to hold Bush accountable for ANYTHING during his entire Presidency!

* Go on an unprecedented spending spree.
Like the spending spree of billions for an war of choice?
* Take over the White House in 2008!
People will ask themselves "are they better off now, with GOP controlling all branches of government, then they were under Democrats...what would be their answer? Had the GOP worked for the PEOPLE, GOP would not have to send out these kinds of memo...now would they?
