Moussaoui gets life in prison
sigh,

I really don't get this verdict at all. This is a man that was to be the 5th hijacker on 9/11. This man has professed that he would love to have 9/11 everyday "Until we got you." To say that this man deserved anything short of death is a injustment.

3. Maybe the OP should send that word to Mr. Colbert.
Perhaps it has to do with "adjusting" justice.

The dude probably wanted a death penalty so he could have his 72 virgins. Let him rot in prison.

2. There is a liklihood that his life in prison
will be sheer hell. I can't imagine any guards having sympathy if he should just happen gto get attacked or whatever. Screw him.

6. Maybe, Maybe Not. What's More Important Is That The Worst Criminal Mind
is still roaming free: i.e. George Bin Shakalaka-Al-Polldrop. A.K.A Shrubby.

7. The Guy Is Crazier Than A Shithouse Rat
I think he was a 'groupee', someone who was weeded out (because of the above) and went freelance to prove to them he was up to the task.

Or his testimony was coerced.

Either way, life without parole seems fair, because in the first case he probably deserves it, and in the second case it is reversible in the event of the facts coming to light.

8. I think it was an honest and wise verdict from the jury.

Many realized he was a bit player, at worst, if that. A "wanna be" he was called by one 9/11 family member. Life seems a good call, imo.

(ed for clarity)

9. Executing him would've made him into even more of a "martyr"
and I'm glad he was deprived of that.

10. You would have anyone who wishes you harm killed? Thoughts vs actions?
Who, beyond the deluded Moussaoui, has proof he was to be the 5th hijacker? People who merely wish and threaten harm are not killed in the USA, locked up perhaps, but not killed. He was a Thought Criminal. What did he do to deserve death? Tell us more.
