Listening to Air America--Dallas today and almost every other commercial |
|
was from the Department of Homeland Security advising people to have a plan to meet up with your family in the event of a terrorist attack. They were pushing this really heavily--and stressed the facts that phones may be out.
Things that make you go hmmmm...

6. The homeland security stuff are PSAs |
|
They send those out and the station puts them on only when there isn't paid advertising. Apparently the Dallas station doesn't have many PSAs or they don't rotate them enough. We have many from the Dept. of Education, Arbor Day, UNCF, McGruff the crime dog, etc. etc.

7. Not hearing commercials, but |
|
This morning on Mark Riley's show, he was saying that Homeland Security is advising NY'ers that we are in a heightened state of alert and to stay extra aware in the subways and mass transit. Riley kind of blew it off like most of us do.
Hearing this makes me wonder what's up. More like what they are up to.
