Is the US Dollar "pegged" to the Saudi Arabian Riyal and Pakistani Rupee??
I was just checking to see how worthless the Dollar is becoming at the BBC News website, when I noticed that the Dollar was unchanged against both the Saudi Arabian Riyal and the Pakistani Rupee, but everything else is going up against the Dollar.

Are they "Pegged" or is that just a weird coincident? <http://newsvote.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/fds/hi/business/market_data/currency/12/13/default.stm>

Anyone who follows that sort of thing know?

2. SA Riyal is pegged, Pakistani rupee floats
The SAMA's middle rate quoted by the SAMA, was determined on the basis of the IMF's daily calculation of the U.S. Dollar - SDR rate. The middle rate for the Saudi Arabian Riyal is SRls3.745 = US$1. This rate has remained unchanged since 1986.

Now, Pakistan is maintaining a floating rate. Under this exchange rate system, each bank quotes its own rate depending on its short and long positions.

3. Yeah, lots of people follow,
When the dollar goes down is a good time for U.S. citizens to travel abroad to all the lands and countries that just plain resent them, for many good reasons.
Let alone the ones that are kicking MurKKKa'a ass...
